GOVERNOR CRIST APPOINTS JACK COX TO 15TH JUDICIAL CIRCUIT COURT

TALLAHASSEE – Governor Charlie Crist today announced the appointment Jack Cox of Hobe Sound to the 15th Judicial Circuit Court.
“Jack’s 29 years of legal experience has demonstrated his fairness and commitment to justice,” Governor Crist said. “I am confident that these attributes and his desire to uphold the law will make an excellent contribution to the people of the 15th Judicial Circuit.”
Cox, 56, has practiced in the area of civil litigation at the Law Office of Jack Schramm Cox P.A. since 1994. Previously, he practiced law with Perry, McCarthy and Cox P.A. beginning in 1981, and Merola, McCarthy and Cox P.A. beginning in 1985. Cox graduated from Florida State University in 1973 and Cumberland School of Law in 1978.
Cox will fill the vacancy created by the resignation of Judge William J. Berger, whose resignation date was effective June 1, 2008.
