GOVERNOR CRIST APPOINTS THREE TO THE FLORIDA STATEWIDE TASK FORCE ON HUMAN TRAFFICKING

TALLAHASSEE – Governor Charlie Crist today announced the following appointments:

Florida Statewide Task Force on Human Trafficking

· Gerald Monahan, 60, of Port Orange, Chief of Police of the City of Port Orange, appointed for a term beginning June 30, 2009, and ending July 1, 2011.

· Representative Maria Lorts Sachs, 60, of Delray Beach, State House of Representatives, appointed for a term beginning June 30, 2009, and ending July 1, 2011.

· Sheriff Mike Scott, 46, of Fort Myers, Lee County Sheriff’s Office, appointed for a term beginning June 30, 2009, and ending July 1, 2011.
